Sessions can take place in your home or at a local library, creating a structured and engaging learning environment where students can focus and build confidence. There is no obligation to continue after the free trial session unless you and your child are completely satisfied.

For students who experience high levels of anxiety, online tutoring offers a comfortable and pressure-free alternative, given that students have the option to disable audio and/or video, allowing them to communicate via the chat function if it makes them feel more at ease. Affordable, small-group tutoring via Zoom, fostering collaboration, peer learning, and engagement, with sessions starting at just $25 per student. Sessions are available in groups of 4-6 students are at that the same school and in the same class, given that students will be learning the same content simultaneously. Group tutoring via Zoom is a more economical alternative to regular tutoring, providing an engaging and collaborative learning environment. The interactive nature of group sessions encourages students to discuss concepts, share problem-solving strategies, and collaborate, reinforcing their understanding. Studies show that explaining ideas to others enhances learning, making group tutoring a powerful tool for academic success.

For high-achieving students looking to advance quickly, master senior-level maths early, and gain a competitive academic edge. Our accelerated learning courses are designed for high-achieving students who may feel unchallenged in their regular maths class. While schools often offer accelerated classes, these are typically in large classes of 25+ students, making it difficult for teachers to provide individual support. At True North Math Tutoring, our accelerated learning courses are capped at 10 students, allowing students to progress more efficiently. We offer two accelerated learning courses, one for junior school (year 7 & 8) and one for middle school (year 9 and 10). Both courses provide students with a significant head start, thus improving their academic performance in Senior School and broadening their career opportunities post-school.
