Accelerated Learning Course

TNMT Accelerated Learning Course

For high-achieving Year 8 and 9 students

The TNMT Accelerated Learning Course is designed for motivated and high-achieving students who are ready to be challenged beyond the standard classroom curriculum. The goal is to provide students early exposure to some of the concepts that form the foundation of higher-level senior mathematics, particularly Mathematical Methods in QLD and Advanced Mathematics in NSW.

Groups are capped at only 10 students to ensure each student receives more targeted support, and all lesson notes are saved digitally so students can revisit concepts at any time.

The course structure and learning sequence is created and taught by Chris Woolway, a qualified high school mathematics teacher with over five years of classroom teaching experience and more than 10 years of tutoring experience. Chris has taught all levels of high school mathematics, including Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics, and previously developed accelerated learning programs for advanced Year 8 and 9 students.

The course is designed to be challenging, engaging and enjoyable, without adding unnecessary stress to students’ regular schooling commitments. For this reason, although there is an exam at the end of each term, participation is optional, not compulsory.

All sessions are paid on a week-to-week basis, meaning there's no overcommitment, no large lumpsum payments, no lock-in contracts and no pressure to continue with the course unless both you and your child are completely satisfied.
